BrakeDAQ
Since its introduction in 1996, the Roush Industries BrakeDAQ system has been the choice for on-road testing of brake noise. Now with the introduction of BrakeDAQ G4 (USB based Modular Hardware Platform), all of the refinement and improvements of BrakeDAQ's earlier versions are captured and applied. BrakeDAQ now uses a hardware solution that allows for greater flexibility during installation, and cost savings for the end user. The end user can purchase a rugged laptop or use a standard off the shelf laptop with the BrakeDAQ system. The system can also be purchased with an integrated computer solution as well if desired. The integration of individual wheel accelerometer data with in-car microphone data provide a wonderful comprehensive set of data from which to engineer and resolve brake noise challenges. Additionally the BrakeDAQ platform is continuously expanding and adding additional Brake testing capabilities to its software and hardware platform, and working to provide lower cost testing solutions. BrakeDAQ NVH
The BrakeDAQ NVH system is for acquiring NVH data alongside a Dynamometer. The BrakeDAQ system offers a low cost solution to provide a standard or desktop Brake NVH testing solution that can integrate into a Dynamometer system. The standard BrakeDAQ NVH system does not provide Dynamometer control; however, adding control is an option for the desktop/rack mount solution.
