LapDAQ
LapDAQ is a compact, rugged signal conditioning enclosure designed specifically to house 5B signal-conditioning modules - possibly the most reliable, rugged signal conditioning electronics available. Additionally LapDAQ is now available with an integrated USB DAQ system allowing an integrated DAQ and Signal conditioning solution that includes free Data acquisition software (R-LO). LapDAQ accomodates up to sixteen (16) modules providing protection from industrial or other harsh environments in a highly compact configuration; however, LapDAQ can be expanded to handle up to 64 channels by stacking up to four units and using the required DAQ hardware.

The LapDAQ system’s modular architecture makes this unit an ideal solution for a variety of applications. The system is a rugged, laptop-sized unit that runs off of a battery, 12-volt DC power supply or 110 or 220-volt AC adapter. It is configurable and can accept variable inputs such as voltage, current, RTDs, thermocouples, strain gauges (including excitation voltages), load cells and pressure transducers; virtually any type of signals for which 5B modules can be utilized. The "plug and run" design allows the user to quickly and simply change the signal conditioning.

Connector "panellettes" further enhance the flexibility of the LapDAQ system. These specially designed plug-in modules provide connectivity for BNC, Lemo, thermocouple mini, and banana-plug connectors; enabling the user to mix and match cable connectors and providing greater reliability, accuracy and durability over wire screw terminals. These user-configurable connector panels allow the use of standard cables and connectors for any sensor.

LapDAQ-USB - 5B Signal Conditioning Enclosures and DAQ Systems
Roush Industries is please to introduce LapDAQ-USB integrated Data Acquisition and signal conditioning systems. This new Engineering Test Tool offers a quick any easy way to get up and testing without the hassle of external Data Acquisition cards, or complicated cabling solutions. The LapDAQ-USB model combines a 16 bit USB card with our traditional LapDAQ 5B module signal conditioning system and free software suite to provide a simplified test tool solution. R-LO, our freeware software package, can be downloaded from Roush Industries website at www.roushind.com/ html/ett_PDAS_lapdaq. R-LO is compatible with the new LapDAQ-USB systems and any LapDAQ system (manufactured by Roush) using a National Instruments E-Series DAQ card.The Roush Industries LapDAQ-USB system has the same basic footprint as our original LapDAQ units only slightly taller with a total height less than three inches. LapDAQ® Counter Conditioner Module
The Counter Conditioner is ideal for vehicle speed input conditioning and typically is a very low cost signal conditioning solution for vehicle speed, or wheel speed applications.  This allows one counter channel of the E-series card available with any LapDAQ system to handle a vehicle speed/wheel speed sensor input based on +/- 40 volts p/p,  20kHz max input, allowing sine, square wave and variable amplitude signals to function correctly with this add on.

LapDAQ® +Control
This is the basic LapDAQ system with an additional layer for Output functionality and system control. Panels are available to customize the system by adding switches, LED’s, and system control or indicator options on the front side, and user defined connectivity options on the back of the unit (BNC, Lemo, Banana, D-Sub, Strain Input Mounting Panels). I/O Modules are available to allow custom signal condition for counter inputs, Analog Outputs and more. The unit comes totally assembled and tested for a turn key portable Data Acquisition and control system.
