A major OEM asked Roush to develop a futuristic concept vehicle for an international auto show. The design concept for this vehicle, based on a medium duty truck platform, posed some unique challenges. The vehicle had to evoke both brawn and beauty, wrapping a bold, rugged exterior around a high tech, luxurious interior. Complex new technologies had to function flawlessly, fit and finish had to be perfect, and aggressive timing objectives required seamless execution of a number of simultaneous activities.
